MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY, MONDAY, MAY 26TH - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED SATURDAY, MAY 24TH AND MONDAY, MAY 26TH

The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 643, will celebrate Memorial Day by hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony at 10:00a.m. on Monday, May 26th.

Volunteers are needed Saturday, May 24th, to help place crosses and small flags at all Veterans graves.  We will begin placing the crosses and flags at approximately 7:15a.m.

Volunteers are also needed to help place the more than 500 donated casket flags for the Avenue of Flags.  If you are able to help, please be at the cemetery at 7:15a.m. on Monday, May 26th.  Volunteers are also need to help take down the casket flags at 2:30p.m., Monday, May 26th. If the Veterans don't have enough volunteers committed to help, all the flags will not be placed.

Please contact George Madrid, US Navy Seabee, at (559) 623-3233 or the cemetery office at (559) 591-3348, with your commitment to help.

Thank you for your help.  We look forward to seeing you there!
